If the C and D drives are on the same disk, there is a pretty easy way to get rid of the D drive and then extend the C drive you use all the space. Moving the "My Documents" folder is a great idea assuming that TreeSize tells you that it's taking up a bunch of space. Trying to move an installed program would be foolish. The key to moving things successfully is to find things that are using gobs of space but aren't truly tied to a location.
You can browse through the tree it creates and see where all your space has gone.
With it, you can right click your C drive and choose "TreeSize" and it will begin parsing all files, folders, and sizes. My suggestion is to install this utility.
